IVE IT Discipline Graduation Project Exhibition 2023 | 50 Graduation Project 1 Step Forward to Professional

IVE Information Technology Discipline is always dedicated to cultivating IT professionals for society and equipping students with practical skills and an innovative mindset. On June 16 2023, IVE IT Discipline held the Graduation Project Exhibition 2023, displaying 50 outstanding graduate projects. The exhibits ranged from Virtual Reality to Art Technology, showcasing a wide variety of projects. The exhibition provided graduates with an opportunity to display their work to the public and offered a platform for interaction between various sectors. The Guest of Honour, the Honourable Duncan CHIU, Legislative Council Member (Technology and Innovation) of the HKSAR, was pleased to see the graduates being favoured by the industry. He expressed his hope that IVE would continue to nurture talent and promote further progress in Hong Kong's IT sector.

This year's IVE IT Graduate Project Exhibition attracted over 200 participants, including partners from sectors such as public organisations, industry associations, employers, suppliers, system integrators, industry leaders, experts etc. Mr Tony TAI, Chairman of the Vocational Training Council was delighted to see exhibits covering popular professional technologies like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, metaverse, data science analytics, cloud computing, and digital media technology. He expressed hope that the graduates would drive the development of the local IT industry and inspire innovation.

The Guest of Honour, the Honourable Duncan CHIU, Legislative Council Member (Technology and Innovation) of the HKSAR was pleased to see IVE graduates being highly sought after entering the industry. “IVE IT provides a large number of talents to the Hong Kong IT industry every year, and many industry professionals have expressed their positive advice that IVE graduates are in high demand. I hope that the institution can offer more courses and better software and hardware facilities, as the industry agrees that the nurturing of the institution is very important." he said. He also expressed his best wishes for the graduate's success, "I hope you all can continue to work hard in the industry after graduation. The industry will have many development opportunities in the future, and everyone should strive to contribute to Hong Kong."
